<\/strong>The Coordinator of Public Notification and Consultation is responsible for the coordination and general administration of the work to guarantee the right to public notification and consultation, provided for by Law No. 146\/2014 \u201cOn Public Notification and Consultation\u201d<\/p>

a)<\/strong> by email;<\/p>

b)<\/strong>\u00a0by public notice, which is displayed on the premises of the initiating public body;<\/p>

c)<\/strong>\u00a0with an announcement in the national, regional or local audiovisual media;<\/p>

\u00e7)<\/strong>\u00a0with publication in local newspapers or in the two most widely read newspapers at the national level.<\/p>

Receiving comments and recommendations in the public consultation process is carried out in one of the forms mentioned above, as well as in certain cases in verbal and\/or written form and recorded in the minutes of public meetings.<\/p>

Preliminary announcements<\/strong><\/p>

  1. The public body, in special cases, may collect information and\/or preliminary opinions from interest groups before initiating the process of drafting the relevant act.<\/li>
  2. In the initial stages, the public body, when it deems it necessary, publishes in one of the forms provided for in Article 11 a prior notice of the act it will draft in order to obtain information from interested parties.<\/li>
  3. Any interested party may respond to the prior notice within the deadlines provided for in this law, by submitting comments and recommendations.<\/li><\/ol>

    Information that needs to be provided<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Interested parties to be consulted are provided with the necessary information to enable them to contribute in the most effective way possible to the process of preparing the draft act electronically and\/or by post.<\/li>
    2. In addition to the relevant documents, depending on the complexity, volume and other characteristics of the draft act, explanations are provided on the purpose, the problems to be addressed, the general ideas, the main changes and\/or possible alternatives and, to the extent possible, studies or analyses that have been carried out for the drafting of the draft act.<\/li><\/ol>

      Extension and repetition of the consultation phase
      <\/strong>The public body may extend the deadline for submitting comments or may repeat the phase of receiving comments and recommendations in cases where:<\/p>

      a)<\/strong>the public body is not satisfied with the quality of the comments received;<\/p>

      b)\u00a0<\/strong>The comments and recommendations provided raised important new issues that were not part of the initial consultation.<\/p>

      Notice of public meetings
      <\/strong>During the consultation period, given the importance of the draft act and the high public interest, the public body may organize public meetings, where interested parties present their opinions and data on the draft act to be drafted.<\/p>
